Why MINDstrain?

Everyone sometimes meets challenges and adversity. Have you thought about why some people in such situations experience stress while others don’t?
 
In your digital, mental gym, you get access to research-based knowledge and effective tools that help to strengthen and maintain good mental health – even when you experience challenges, adversity and stress.

Recommendations

When you start your training, we have a few recommendations to ensure you gain the most value from it.

Getting started
The gym consists of different tracks with 6-10 underlying modules. Each track deals with a theme related to mental health. Each track takes about 45 minutes to complete.
 
The Basic Track is the first thing you will complete. It gives you an insight into the MINDstrain method, which the other tracks refer to.
 
Once you have completed the Basic Track, you are free to choose what you want to train.

In this way, you ensure that the knowledge you have gained will settle. If you gain too much new knowledge all at once, it will be impossible for you to remember it.

Repeat and proceed

If there are any tools in a specific module that you would like to repeat multiple times, you may choose to wait a while longer before proceeding.


We recommend that you wait no more than 10 days before proceeding.


Otherwise, you risk losing the context.

Exercises

In the process, you will be asked to complete certain exercises. When you have completed these exercises, it will be helpful to ask yourself:

How can I transfer this to my own life? 

Is there anything special I would like to practice on, and how often? 

Is there anything in particular I would like to focus on changing in my life?

This ensures that what you learn will be present for you.

 

You are welcome to talk to others about the programme and exercises.

 

When you tell other people what you have learned, you will remember it much better and it will be easier for you to apply the new knowledge to you own life.
