MINDstrain

To keep fit physically, we need to train continuously.

The same is true for mental health. MINDstrain is your mental gym, where you can work purposefully to improve and maintain good mental health.

The purpose of this guide is to ensure that MINDstrain is anchored in the organization in order to create optimal value. Only when the method and tools are used will the program be instrumental in creating a change. As responsible for this process, you can on this page, find material you can use along the way.

Intro Webinar

In conjunction with the rollout of MINDstrain, you can view this recorded intro webinar. 

In this webinar you will get knowledge about the research behind the method as well as an introduction to the program and what you can expect from it. 

You can either play the webinar in a team meeting, or you can send it out by email, so it is possible to watch it when it suits the individual.

Communication

As a leader, you can advantageously explain your employees about the program and what they can gain from it.

It is important that everyones get proper information about the program, so everyone understand what they can get out of the program and how it works.

To be able to handle these demanding and stressful periods without being overwhelmed, we offer you access to MINDstrain – which is your new mental gym.

Here you can train and maintain our mental health, by gaining access to research-based knowledge and effective tools that can be used in your everyday life.

The mental gym is digital, and you can access it when it suits you: via your computer, phone or another device.

Your mental gym consists of different tracks, within which you can train themes related to mental health and wellbeing. You can, for example, train your sleep quality, your ability to handle thoughts, cope with stress and much more. Every quarter a new track opens.

You gain access to the gym by contacting your manager, HR… (or the process you decide as a company)

The mental gym is a preventive initiative and is therefore not a treatment. If you feel that you need more help than what this preventive effort offers, contact your manager (or HR).

We encourage you to step forward as a leader by working out in the mental gym. A facilitator’s guide is included with each track, which can be used to create a team based dialogue and learning along the way, as well as to ensure implementation of the tools at both individual and team level. Furthermore, this process ensures that everyone completes the different tracks, leading to the improvement and maintenance of good mental health.

In the facilitator guides, there is a practical description of how you can prepare yourself and your team for these gatherings.

What happens along the way?

The program is completed individually, and the facilitator guide can be used as a process tool to ensure a common dialogue at team and organizational level.

Make sure that you are using the newest version of the browser you are using.

Participants must use the company link provided to log in for the first time and create their user.

Afterwards they will have to log in via MINDstrain’s website: www.mindstrain.com

To create a user participants must use the company link provided. Use the link to create your own tailored front page, allowing you to create a short intro text and to upload your logo.

You cannot create multiple users using the same email address.
